MANFAAT TEKNIK INDUSTRI BAGI KEHIDUPAN MANUSIA

A. TEKNIK INDUSTRI

Menurut wikipedia, teknik industri adalah ilmu teknik yang berkenaan dengan pengembangan, perbaikan, implementasi, dan evaluasi sistem integral dari manusia, pengetahuan, peralatan, energi, materi, dan proses.

Ilmu ini menerapkan cara-cara dan analisis engineering terhadap produksi barang dan jasa. Para insinyur industri menentukan cara-cara yang paling efektif dan ekonomis bagi sebuah organisasi dalam memanfaatkan orang, mesin, dan bahan. Teknik industri lebih kekhususan ke arah how to mass-produce how to make an industry.

Teknik industri dapat diartikan sebagai suatu teknik manajemen sistem, yaitu suatu teknik yang mengatur sistem secara keseluruhan dengan mempertimbangkan aspek-aspek yang terkait. Aspek-aspek tersebut secara keseluruhan antara lain manusia sebagai aspek terpenting, mesin, dan material. Teknik industri mengatur agar sistem tersebut berjalan dengan cara yang paling produktif, efektif, dan efisien.

Ilmu teknik industri dapat dibagi dalam tiga bidang keahlian, yaitu sistem manufaktur, manajemen industri, sistem industri dan tekno ekonomi.

A.1  SISTEM MANUFAKTUR

Merupakan sebuah sistem yang memanfaatkan pendekatan teknik industri untuk peningkatan kualitas, produktivitas, dan efisiensi sistem integral yang terdiri dari manusia, mesin, material, energi, dan informasi melalui proses perancangan, perencanaan, pengoperasian, pengendalian, pemeliharaan, dan perbaikan dengan menjaga keselarasan aspek manusia dengan lingkungan kerjanya.

A.2  MANAJEMEN INDUSTRI

Bidang ini memanfaatkan pendekatan teknik industri untuk penciptaan dan peningkatan nilai sistem usaha melalui fungsi dan proses manajemen dengan bertumpu pada keunggulan sumber daya insani dalam menghadapi lingkungan kerja yang dinamis.

A.3 SISTEM INDUSTRI DAN TEKNO EKONOMI

Bidang keahlian ini memanfaatkan pendekatan teknik industri untuk peningkatan daya saing sistem integral yang terdiri atas tenaga kerja, bahan baku, energi, informasi, teknologi, dan infrastruktur yang berinteraksi dengan komunitas bisnis, masyarakat, dan pemerintah.

B.  MANFAAT TEKNIK INDUSTRI BAGI KEHIDUPAN MANUSIA

Tidak diragukan lagi sepanjang masa sejarah hidup manusia  teknik industri memberikan banyak kontribusi bagi kehidupan manusia. Sebagai hasil dari proses berfikir teknik industri diarahkan untuk melayani manusia. Teknik industri memberikan solusi yang lebih efektif dan efisien dalam berbagai proses produksi, termasuk penggunaan mesin, material, waktu, sumber daya manusia, informasi, dan sebagainya. Teknik industri juga memiliki manfaat dalam pembuatan sistem kerja yang efektif dan efisien agar produksi barang di pabrik berjalan lancar.

C.  APLIKASI YANG SERING DIJUMPAI

Dalam pengaplikasian ilmu teknik industri yang sering dijumpai di kehidupan nyata adalah pada perancangan sistem di pabrik. Salah satu contoh aplikasi ilmu teknik industri adalah seorang profesor ilmuwan penemu membutuhkan waktu 800 jam untuk membuat komputer hasil rancangannya. Tugas dari seorang ahli teknik industri adalah merancang sistem di pabrik agar pekerjaan si profesor bisa dilakukan sepuluh orang dalam delapan jam. Sistem itu harus mencakup pengelolaan mesin, waktu, dan sumber daya.

D. KESIMPULAN DAN SARAN

Teknik industri adalah ilmu teknik yang berkenaan dengan pengembangan, perbaikan, implementasi, dan evaluasi sistem integral dari manusia, pengetahuan, peralatan, energi, materi, dan proses. Diharapkan dari waktu ke waktu bidang industri semakin mengalami perkembangan. Karena itu, lulusan Teknik Industri dituntut untuk menjadi sarjana yang siap pakai. Selain itu, diharapkan pula teknik industri lebih kompeten jika setiap mahasiswanya lebih difokuskan kepada spesialisasi di bidangnya.

Forgive Yourself Before Starting to Make The Resolutions

Hal yang menarik pada pembahasan kita kali ini adalah tentang resolusi di tahun 2011, berhubung 2010 akan meninggalkan kita, ya 2,5 jam lagi 2010 akan meninggalkan kita semua. Gemuruh suara terompet dan petasan padu demi padu bersuara di rumah saya, semua orang merayakan tahun baru bersama keluarga, teman-teman atau pacar, dan ada juga yang sibuk menulis blog seperti saya., hehe.

Di sini saya menulis yang ringan-ringan saja, untuk apa hal-hal yang berat karena memang sedang tidak mengangkat yang berat (apa ya?),friends, sebenarnya tahun baru bukan hal yang sangat spesial bagi saya, karena memang dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya, tahun baru saya diisi hanya dengan menonton acara-acara menarik yang disuguhkan program televisi, selebihnya tidak ada. Dan tahun baru kali, saya sedang senang menulis blog maka saya menulislah.

Friends, bagaimana 2010 yang tinggal 2,5 jam lagi akan meninggalkan kita? apakah kita sudah memafkan diri kita? memafkan hal-hal yang lampau yang menurut kita adalah sebuah aib besar dalam diri kita.sebaiknya sebelum memulai untuk membuat resolusi-resolusi besar sebaiknya kita memafkan diri kia sendiri terlebih dahulu karena hal yang terpenting adalah memaafkan kesalahan diri sendiri dahulu sebelum memulai resolusi-resolusi baru di tahun 2011. di sini saya ingin mengucapkan selamat tahu baru ya friends, make next year to be better year, amen.

Surat Cintaku Pada-NYA

 

Ya Allah aku ini manusia biasa yang hina akan dosa, namun aku adalah milik-MU ya Allah, izinkanlah tangan hamba ini yang hina untuk memohon ampun padamu atas segala dosa yang hamba lakukan, hamba ini tempatnya salah, manusia yang kau ciptakan sempurna namun aku yang tidak menyempurnakannya.

 

Ya Allah engkau pun yang menyempurnakan hatiku dengan cinta, sehingga sampai saat ini aku terlena di dalamnya, terlena pada sosok pria itu. Sampai ku lupa pada-MU. Padahal bukan dia yang menciptakan ku, padahal bukan dia yang menciptakan hatiku untuk mencinta, dan juga bukan dia yang memberikan keanugerahan cinta. Namun, hamba begitu sombong yang selama ini lupa akan pemberianmu. Ya Allah, hanya engkau yang mampu memelukku dengan kasihmu, dengan kedamaian, menjagaku. Jangan biarkan cinta ini yang kau berikan padaku mampu menandingin rasa cintaku kepadamu, wahai zat yang maha membolak balikan hati manusia. Hamba kotor, maka lindungilah hamba ya Allah. Hamba hina, maka lindungilah hamba ya Allah.

 

Ya Allah berikanlah aku kekasih yang terbaik untuk hidupku, yang mampu mendamaikan jiwaku, yang mampu menyejukan hatiku, yang mampu menerangi keluarga kami kelak dengan ayat-ayat indah dari-MU, yang mampu menuntun aku ke jalan lurus-MU, yang mampu mendidik anak-anak kami kelak dengan didikan dari surat cinta-MU ya Allah. Aku kotor, aku hina, namun aku percaya engkau mampu memberikan yang terbaik untuk hamba. Ya Allah bukanlah engkau berjanji lelaki baik hanya untuk wanita baik. Aku sedang berusaha untuk menjadi ya terbaik ya Allah agar pantas untuk mendampingi lelaki yang terbaik, yang dihatinya penuh dengan kasih-MU, berikanlah kemudahan pada usaha ku ya Allah.

 

Ya Allah, dia datang dihidupku, hambamu yang engkau ciptakan yang memberiku segenggam cinta, tolong jangan kau buat hubungan ini berdiri atas dasar nafsu ya Allah, tolong kau buat hubungan ini berdiri atas keindahan nama-MU, jangan biarkan hati dan pikiranku dikotori oleh nafsu-nafsu setan yang kian menggoda, jangan biarkan hatiku ini, rasa cintaku melebihi rasa cintaku kepada-MU. Ya Allah jika memang dia yang terbaik untukku, dekatkanlah hatiku karena-MU, jika memang dia jodohku berikan hatiku kedamaian yang tidak adanya keraguan kepadanya walaupun dia sudah membohongi aku, jika memang dia jodohku mantapkan hatiku karena-MU, Allah. Jika memang dia jodohku, dekatkan hati kami ya Allah. Namun jika ENGKAU tidak mengizinkan aku untuk terus bersamanya, tolong ya Allah, tolong ya Allah jangan kau persulit hatiku untuk melepaskan-NYA, wahai zat yang membolak-balikkan hati manusia,

Aku percaya hanya ENGKAUlah yang mampu memberikan yang terbaik untukmu, tidaklah sulit bagimu jika kau sudah berkehendak, ijinkan hambamu yang hina ini memohon ampun padamu yang agung, Amin.

 

 

FREE PUBLIC TRANSPORT FOR STUDENTS

The development of transportation in Indonesia was started from old bicycles till modern cars which are so many used now. Previously, students went to their schools by bike or on foot. But because of the needs and the development of technology, students now use motors, and cars as their main transportations to go to schools. By using them, students have to pay more and experience traffic jam. Because of it, the government tries to solve the problems by providing free public transport. The government considers that free public transport can decrease the cost of transportation, avoid students getting trapped in traffic jam because free public transport has its own track. However, personally, I believe that the government of Indonesia should not provide the students free public transport yet because Indonesia has still problems in finance, management transportation, and people’s mental attitude.

First, Indonesia still has problems in finance. Indonesia has a big amount of debt. The amount of debt in Indonesia reached trillion. Every baby who is born in this country has a debt equals to ten millions. Every year, the amount of debt is not downward, but continue to rise. Every year, Indonesians feel the effect of a big amount of debt. There are so many poverty cases in Indonesia, such as the difficulty of finding decent work, the difficulty of getting good education, etc. We often see schools which do not deserve to be called as school, especially in rural areas in Indonesia; old building, leaky roof, brittle wood. With the government’s plan in an effort to provide the students free public transport, I think that it is not a good plan for providing the students free public transport now. In providing the students free public transport, the government needs a big amount of money, while there are still so many poverty cases in Indonesia. Not only poverty, education cases should be solved seriously. Our government should renovate the old schools. It is better for the government to allocate the money to improve people’s welfare or improve education quality than to provide free public transport for students.

Second, Indonesia still has a serious problem in management transportation. If we look at the capital city of Indonesia, we can see how bad the system of transportation management in Indonesia. In Jakarta, the traffic jam is already part of people’s life. The arrangement of urban planning and transportation is not good. So far, There is no significant improvement in public transport. For example, The Trans Jakarta which has its own track is provided by the past government to make an easy for people. In fact, with providing it, The traffic jam is more increasing. The old transport is not removed from circulation by the government, and many people still use their own personal transport so that the more transport are on the road. It causes the traffic jam problem is hard to be solved. Even if the government wants to try to remove the old transport, the government will get many protests from old transport drivers because they will lose income from old transport. With the government’s plan in an effort to provide the students free public transport, I think that it is not a good plan for providing the students free public transport now. Free public transport for students needs its own track, it will be problems for some areas in Indonesia. Not all of areas in Indonesia can support its track well. There are areas in Indonesia like Jakarta which has bad transportation management. For example, in Jakarta has had bus way for Trans Jakarta. If the government also provides free public transport for students with its own track, the traffic jam will be worse because there are two tracks on the road. Even if the government wants to provide free public transport for students without its own track, the traffic jam will not get better before the government manages the transportation problems in Indonesia. It is better for the government to manage the transportation system than to provide free public transport for students.

Third, some of Indonesian are still lack of discipline. There are many cases proving that some of Indonesian people are not mature yet in their mental attitude. They like to break the rules they made. They do not respect law and ignore public facilities. If I relate it into the government’s plan on free public transport for students, I am sure that the government’s plan will not work effectively. I am sure that Indonesian will not obey the rules that the government made to provide students free public transport. There is possibility that students will not use the free public transport. Instead, public people besides might use the transport and they have to pay for it. The bad mental attitude is like a root of the problems, source of problems. So, the government should be consistent to give the punishment for people who break the rules so that they will not be dare to break the rules.

All in all, providing students free public transport is not a good idea for now because the financial problems, bad transportation management system, and bad mental attitude which still become problems in Indonesia. The government should allocate the money to improve people’s welfare or improve education quality than to provide free public transport for students. The government should manage the transportation system by making the rules and be consistent with the rules which the government made before providing free public transport for students.

The Disadvantages of Television for Children

 

Television is one product of technological advances that have been successfully reach all ages. Television is a cultural barometer of society in which culture appears always preceded by the appearance on the television screen. television information and entertainment make it very easy to access, and it means almost no cost. Everyone can watch television, including children. From here, we can see how the relationship between children and television. Apparently, television which famous with how it presents informations, it has a negative impact for children if the television is not used wisely. And parents can not control what their children watch on television. Now, many television stations broadcast the television programs those are able to bring negative effects for children. I believe that television can bring three negative effects for children.

First. Television can disturb the activities of children at school. Television often make children can not wake up early, and come to school lately because they spend their time with their lovely television till late at night. Even, when their lovely actors act well on the television screen, it is difficult for them to think sleep early. So, they choose to spend their time with their idol on the television screen till late at night. Television also can disturb their concentration when they are studying in the class. When their lovely actors are acting on the television screen, it is difficult for them to move their attention for something. Even, when the film what they watch ends, it will not close the possibility if they still remember what the actors made. So that when they are in the class and the teacher explains the math lessons, they do not concentrate their minds with math that is taught, but their minds focus on their favorite actors in the last film they saw on the television screen. Moreover, television can also make children like to procrastinate their home works, whether you know the nature attitude of the children, the children do not like the adults who can be given responsibility, they quickly move the attention on the things that they think is something interesting. If they think what they watch is something interesting rather than mathematical tasks that make them want to break their heads. They tend to choose to watch television instead of doing math.

Second,  Television can be negative impacts on children’s physical. Obesity, Imagine if the children spend a long time in front of television, they will have less physical activity, they tend to spend their time to watch television instead of exercising, such as playing basketball. Even, when they watch television accompanied by brownies, all of sweets, and five packs of snacks. It will be very difficult for them to control their bodies from obesity. In addition, television also can make their eyes will be broken. The eyes that should be used wisely, they use it to watch television with a long time, Their eyes are much exposed to radiation and the television lights. As a result of it, the damage of their eyes can not be avoided.

Third, Television can disturb cognitive processes for children. Television can influence their emotions. Almost all of television stations, many television programs that tend to lead to the impression of violence (sadism), pornography, mysticism, and luxury (hedonism). The anxiety grows because the television can easily be consumed by children. Therefore, it is very dangerous if the children often watch television programs that contain elements of violence. The violence on television that makes the children think violence is the way to solve the problem. Not only children’s emotions, but also television can affect the process of thinking for children. So many television stations are escaped the censor but if those are watched by children, the impression it could greatly affect the pattern of thinking for children. For example: when the children watch a soap opera, in the soap opera shows how a young girl in a relationship with the opposite sex, we call it, a boyfriend, the children definitely watch the activities of them. By watching this, the children can think if they are become teenagers, they should be dating. If not, it could be considered it will not be cool. And finally, the television can affect social activities of children. Various televisions that according to the children are so interesting to be watched, They will continue watching television without knowing the time, even if their parents do not forbid them to continue watching the television. Thus, their social activities will be severely disrupted. The children who should spend the time with their friends, they actually spend the time with their televisions.

All in all, television is an electronic thing that can alter someone’s life, especially children. Television not only has so many advantages, but also it has three disadvantages for children if the television is not used wisely. There are three negative effects from television, those are television can disturb the activities of children at school, television can be a negative impact on children’s physical, and the last television can disturb cognitive processes for children.

MONEY IS AS A MOTIVATOR

In a globalitation era, people have to keep their nose to the grinstone to make ends meet and secure future, money is not for lazy person, if people want to get much money, they must workhard. I personally believe that money is as motivator in our life.

For example, Mr.Didi came from poor family, he didn’t have facilitate like others when he was young, he went to school on foot so long distance, he always got highest score in his class, he has capable of learning mathematics, and he is accepted in Jakarta University majoring in mathematics, and he has been teacher since 1993, and get secure life with enough income.

Therefore, if people want to get money, they must work hard because money is not for lazy person. People must have spirit to work hard and money is as motivator for it.

Procrastinator, and my way to solve it

Talking about procrastinator, maybe, i am one of procrastinators. I have bad story about it. One day, all my family went to Bandung. I did not go because i have a plan and schedule for spending my holiday for studying. And i stayed alone for a week . My mother told me to clean the house and keep the house well. I tried to do my best for my duties. But, on the third day, my friends invited me to see a game in Bulungan, in the first time, my mother did not allow me but since i deceived my mother very well. Finally, i got permission from her but i could not go home tonight. I went with my friends and got happy together there. I spent a long time and i didn’t remember it was at 8 p.m. But, i did not pay attention to that because i thought that my mother was in Bandung, no one scolded me and no one knew when i got home tonight. Finally, i arrived at home at 11 pm with my friends by motorcycle, when i was in front of the house and tried to open the door, i was surprised after i knew that there was not my television in my house, there was a thief entering into my house, stole my television. i was confused, sad, and i did not know what i had to say to my parents. And then, i tried to look for job to bail myself out of this situation, shirking my duties.

I became plate cleaner in the restaurant and a car cleaner, i have done what i could do. Believe it or not, i was able to make up for the television with my trial for four days. But, i also asked apologizefor my parents because i have shirked my duties and put it off till i go home tonight. This is my way to bail myself out of the grave result. May i will not get this situation again in the future. And also i have the way to avoid the habit of procrastioning. The way is just think that to be procrastinator means that you are courting catastrophe and you will get the grave result so that you will not procrastinate something again…

Pesugihan?

What is Pesugihan? Pesugihan is a form of ritual to ask for wealth from a certain supernatural beings. Usually people go to a certain place like Mount Kawi to meet a socerer. The sorcerer will give some instructions to be carried out later as the requirement for the wealth asked.

After the requirements have been fulfilled, the people in a split second will become rich. However, the wealth must be maintened by giving offerings. There are many supernatural powers that people believe to get wealth, for example Nyi Roro Kidul, or Nyi Blorong. Many people do still do it as a shortcut to be rich. They’re really sacrifice everything to get what they want. Sometimes they even forget all the consequences of this ritual, like losing lives of their loved ones. These supernatural beings usually demands very illogical offerings in order to maintain the wealth the person received.

Becoming rich by losing the lives of your loved ones and having to fulfill everything this creature wants at any cost? This is an act against God, Every religion teaches us to ask for anything from God and not to get too obsessed to wealth. In addition, Pesugihan can also bring us more problems than fortune. The creature will not be easily satisfied by ordinary offerings. One offering will lead to another and usually it’s more difficult and more demanding. If we ask wealth this way, we’ll soon find ourselves in a bigger problem than just not having money. So, think again, do you really want to be rich but live in a never-ending story of fulfilling the creature’s demands?
